 Having
been told by a friend how well his mother has been since treating her knee
with the acupuncture procedure, I decided to try having acupuncture on
my face. One year ago, I came down with Tic-douloureux that is very
painful. I had to undergo surgery and in doing so I lost the feeling in
the left side of my face. The pain wasn't gone so the doctor put me on
800mg of Tegretol.
I was like a walking zombie ... I couldn't even drive
my car for more than ten minutes without falling asleep. So I made an appointment
with Dr. Kim to talk about my health problem. He assured me that he could
help me. Well, I have been going to him now for three months and I have
dropped down on my medication from 800mg to 200mg. I also had some arthritis
in my right hand that he treated with acupuncture and it doesn't bother
me at all any more.
I have been so pleased with the Acupuncture Procedure.
I feel that it is a shame that all insurance companies and Medicare couldn't
cover it because there are a lot of people with arthritis that could be
treated and can't afford to pay for it without the help of insurance and
Medicare. I've been so pleased with the acupuncture treatment for myself
that I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. I am thrilled to say
since January 1995 I am now totally free of pain, and no longer need to
take any medication. |
